Whimsical Wildflowers: Makinzie and Dan’s May Wedding in Cuyahoga Valley National Park
When Makinzie first reached out to me about her wedding at the breathtaking Cuyahoga Valley National Park, I knew this one was going to be special. Mackenzie envisioned a whimsical wildflower theme that perfectly matched her venue’s natural beauty. She wanted her florals to feel like they were plucked straight from a meadow, with lush, colorful arrangements for her ceremony arch, aisle, and personal flowers for her bridal party. Needless to say, I was immediately on board (and maybe a little obsessed).
The day of the wedding could not have been more perfect. The sun filtered through the trees, creating a magical glow, and the wildflower arrangements complemented the venue’s natural charm seamlessly. Mackenzie carried a bouquet filled with delicate cosmos, cheerful ranunculus, fragrant garden roses, and pops of vibrant delphiniums—a true reflection of her joyful personality.
The ceremony arch was a showstopper, overflowing with blooms in hues of orange, blue, pink, and white. It served as the perfect backdrop for Makinzie and Dan as they exchanged vows, surrounded by their closest family and friends. We also lined the aisle with small clusters of wildflowers that added a soft, romantic touch without overshadowing the incredible surroundings.
Makinzie and her guests were thrilled with the results, but my favorite part? Seeing her reaction when she first saw her bouquet. Her smile lit up the whole park (and might have rivaled the flowers themselves) it was everything she had hoped for.
